Position Title: Gymnastics Program Coordinator
Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite
Overview:
The Gymnastics Program Coordinator will support the Gymnastics Director in overseeing all facets of the gymnastics initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the strategic planning and enhancement of the gymnastics program.
- Organize and coordinate recreational and competitive events.
- Oversee the financial management of the gymnastics program.
- Recruit and train new personnel.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all youth participants.
- Foster relationships and maintain open communication with participants and their families.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in program management and supervision, with a minimum of three (3) years in coaching and instructing various skill levels from beginner to competitive.
- Must hold certifications in CPR and First Aid, USAG Safety, Safe Sport, and be a USAG Professional Member.
- Availability during evenings and weekends is required; schedule may vary based on seasonal demands.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Physical Education, Exercise Science, or Sports Management.
Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and planning abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Adept at managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to plan, lead, and demonstrate a variety of gymnastics activities. Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods, lift, bend, carry, reach, stoop, push, and pull. The noise level in the work environment may fluctuate based on the activity level.
Visual and auditory capabilities are necessary to respond to critical incidents, along with the physical ability to act swiftly in emergencies and adhere to the emergency action plan.
