Salary



The estimated salary for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.



Job Description



We are seeking a Nuclear Training Program Manager Lead to provide leadership and direction of Training Programs associated with formal training at the Savannah River Site.



The successful candidate will be responsible for managing specific activities for a functional area of Site Integration, implementing site policy, and interacting with peers and customers to resolve specific implementation issues.



Key Responsibilities




  2. Manage the activities of individual contributors in a functional area and directly contribute to the successful operation of that functional area.
  3. Act under direction of immediate manager, making decisions that have an effect on the success or failure of specific objectives.
  4. Implement both short and long-term business plans as directed to contribute to the success of the division.
  5. Act on behalf of immediate manager in their absence, including all responsibilities and functions.
  6. Implement training programs for subordinates to ensure the development of necessary business skills.
  7. Held responsible for the effective use of direct staff and budget.
  8. Effectively execute scope within established policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with all State and Federal laws and regulations.
  9. Provide oversight of the site training manual 4B applications in both classroom and field settings, reviewing and implementing corrective actions associated with 4B implementation.
  10. Oversee Instructor/Developer qualifications to ensure they are current and that each instructor on-site is qualified.
  11. Oversee the development of continuing training for instructors/developers/instructional designers, assessing and documenting yearly evaluations of all instructors.
  12. Oversee an assessment project/facility/group compliance with the Instructional Staff Training and Qualification Program.
  13. Identify driving requirements and ensure resources are in place for new courses created.
