We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Department Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing leadership to staff in achieving departmental goals.

Job Description

The Laboratory Department Lead will be responsible for:

  • Leadership and Management: Providing strategic guidance and direction to the laboratory team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with other departments.
  • Quality Assurance: Overseeing the implementation of quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Staff Development: Providing training and development opportunities to staff, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Operational Management: Coordinating the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring efficient use of resources, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the laboratory adheres to all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Experience: 3-5 years of clinical laboratory management experience (preferred)
  • Certification/License: Registered Medical Technologist MT(ASCP) or equivalent
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
