Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and executes efficient testing and troubleshooting methodologies for systems and equipment throughout all stages of product innovation and production.
- Creates diagnostic programs, designs testing apparatus, and formulates specifications and protocols for new product lines.
- Organizes labor, timelines, and resources necessary for the assessment and validation of both standard and specialized devices.
- Delivers technical presentations as needed for clients and the field service team.
- Collaborates with internal sales and marketing teams, as well as clients, to pinpoint emerging standards, processes, manufacturing techniques, and innovative technologies to guide the factory on future market developments.
- Ensures effective communication among internal and external stakeholders regarding process enhancement initiatives through meetings, reports, documentation, or other means as necessary.
- Coordinates tailored improvement strategies specific to each site.
- May participate in customer onboarding and training sessions, with some travel involved.
A Bachelor's Degree accompanied by 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master's Degree with no prior experience; or an Associate's Degree with 6 years of relevant experience; or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree. A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in 3DI technology, including fusion and hybrid bonding processes (wafer to wafer and/or die to wafer).
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The physical demands outlined here are representative of those that must be fulfilled by an employee to effectively execute the essential functions of this role. This position is primarily office-based. The role typically involves the use of standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While this is largely a sedentary position, some filing tasks may require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary. The role may require occasional lifting of office supplies and products, up to 35 pounds. Additionally, this position necessitates 4 to 6 hours of daily computer screen/keyboard usage.
