Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Fabrication Shop Manager to lead our fabrication team in the development of cutting-edge agricultural solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication, a passion for innovation, and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of fabricators, machinists, and mechanics to design and develop innovative agricultural solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new fabrication processes and technologies
  • Develop and maintain a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the fabrication team
  • Ensure the development of high-quality products that meet customer requirements and industry standards
  • Manage and maintain a safe and efficient fabrication environment
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on fabrication experience
  • Automotive technical or trade school degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Driven and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work with little to no supervision
  • Ability to solve ambiguous and over-constrained fabrication challenges
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with drill press, shear, press brake, flat pattern generation and cutting, and other sheet metal processes
  • Experience with MIG and TIG welding processes on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
  • Vertical mill and lathe proficiency
  • Plumbing of coolant and/or hydraulic systems using both hard and soft lines
  • Custom fabrication of concept cars, farm implements, or equivalent
