About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Strategist to join our team at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. As a key member of our marketing communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies that drive engagement and support our organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Compelling Content: Create high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience, including blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our creative team, including designers, art directors, and producers, to develop concepts and stories that help push our creative work forward.
  • Conduct Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in content creation, and apply this knowledge to inform our content strategies.
  • Manage Multiple Projects: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
  • Measure and Evaluate Performance: Track and analyze the performance of our content, using data and metrics to inform future content strategies and optimize our content marketing efforts.
Requirements
  • 7+ Years of Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, or a related field.
  • Strong Writing and Editing Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt to different tone and style guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems: Experience with content management systems, including WordPress and other popular platforms.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
