The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Integrator to join our team at BAE Systems' Intelligence and Security Sector. As an onsite Systems Integrator, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that our customers' IT infrastructure and systems are aligned with the digital model-based engineering needs of the organization.

The Role:

As an onsite Systems Integrator, you will focus on IT Enterprise Alignment, working closely with engineering teams to understand their digital model-based engineering needs and identify opportunities to improve IT support. You will develop and implement strategies to align the SSP organization's IT infrastructure and systems with digital model-based engineering needs, including the selection and implementation of new tools and technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to align the SSP organization's IT infrastructure and systems with digital model-based engineering needs, including the selection and implementation of new tools and technologies.
  • Partner with IT operations teams to ensure that systems and infrastructure support digital model-based engineering requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors and consultants to evaluate new tools and technologies that could improve digital model-based engineering operations.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering teams and the IT department to ensure that IT support is responsive to the needs of the organization.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of IT support for digital model-based engineering operations, and make recommendations for improvement as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 6 years of experience in IT management or IT operations.
  • Working onsite a minimum of three (3) days per week, two (2) days telework.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with partners and government officials.
  • Strong understanding of digital model-based engineering principles and tools.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
