Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at WalkerHughes Insurance. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a critical role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth for our agency.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with strategic targets and cultivate relationships with inbound and outbound prospects.
- Client Relationships: Build strong relationships with clients and provide consultation on their individual challenges, helping them scale their business with our world-class services and solutions.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue and growth for the agency by identifying and pursuing business opportunities with prospects, and providing strategic guidance and exposure analysis to clients.
- Account Management: Coordinate with service representatives to ensure a first-class experience from start to finish, and build and maintain professional relationships with clients, insurance companies, and teammates.
- Networking: Engage in networking opportunities by attending industry events, getting involved in the local community, and asking for referrals from current customers.
- Proposal Development: Present proposals clearly and effectively so that clients can understand their coverage details, and identify opportunities to cross-sell additional lines of insurance where appropriate and applicable.
- Prospecting: Prospect for new business from existing clients and identified target groups, and promote agency and insurance industry in the community.
- Industry Knowledge: Keep informed of industry developments through review of trade press and by attending insurance carrier training meetings on new products, etc.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and technology.
