About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Used Truck Sales Representative to join our team at TEC Equipment, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in the used truck market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality used inventory.
  • Build and maintain a loyal customer base through exceptional sales support and customer service.
  • Analyze market trends and data to proactively manage inventory and avoid overage positions.
  • Align department activities with the company's value proposition and ensure that all employees and customers understand our commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct business with the highest level of ethics and professionalism, modeling the company's core values.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and friendly competition within the sales team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the parts, service, finance, and new truck sales departments to maximize dealer profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product updates, and technological advances through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience with profit and loss (P&L) responsibility preferred.
  • Used truck experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of trucks and the trucking industry.
  • Sound business acumen with the ability to analyze, prioritize, identify, and execute solutions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer programs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure and exercise sound judgment at all times.
  • Valid driver's license required.
