Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with heavy equipment and trucks
  • Use and understand technical instructions to perform work and assist others
  • Determine usability of component parts and list and order needed parts
  • Complete work accurately and timely as outlined in standard guidelines
  • Write and/or type a good description of all work performed on each individual repair
  • Perform all aspects of the job safely and in accordance with OSHA and company rules and regulations
  • Understand the importance of attendance and punctuality and how it directly impacts customer service
  • Be a good steward of company tools and resources
Requirements
  • High School Diploma desired
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact well with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner
  • Ability to read and write in English and understand computer-generated reports, office reports, invoices, etc.
  • Ability to operate various computer diagnostic devices, laptops, and tablets
Physical Demands
  • Ability to maneuver around, in, on, and under trucks to properly inspect and diagnose all types of problems and repairs
  • Ability to pass a physical and drug and alcohol screens during pre-employment screening, randomly, and/or as requested throughout employment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds to the waist and 25 pounds to the shoulder
