Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography, MR, and mammography scans, as well as maintaining patient records and files.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient history and explain routine procedures to patients
  • Perform procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist's expectations and protocols
  • Display knowledge and comply with the National Patient Safety goals
  • Support and report any identified compliance matters
  • Participate in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction
  • Maintain professional development and education for technical competency
  • Use standard precautions and PPE at all times
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and licensure for current position
  • Attend all required educational programs and Learn modules
  • Contribute to the efficient operation and monitoring of the department and utilize resources efficiently
  • Demonstrate complete working knowledge of equipment within assigned area
  • Knowledge and performance of the Code of Conduct Standards
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Possess and maintain certification by the American Registry of Radiologic technologist (ARRT) in 2 Pathways not including Radiography (R)
  • State of Kentucky License required
  • BLS upon hire
