Job Summary:
Norton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Diagnostic Imaging. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images using various imaging equipment and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize imaging equipment and techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images that meet or exceed department, organizational, and industry standards.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality.
- Prepare patients for procedures, educate, and respond to questions or concerns.
- Ensure age-appropriate approach to communication, safety needs, patient education, and principles of physical/functional growth and development.
- Apply professional knowledge to oversee and train students providing patient care, treatment, and services as part of their training.
Qualifications:
- One of the following:
- RO (State Radiography License) AND ARRT-R
- ROT (Temp State Radiography License) AND must obtain ARRT-R prior to ROT expiration
- Desired:
- One year in general radiography
