Job Summary:

Norton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images using imaging equipment and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize imaging equipment and technology to produce high-quality diagnostic images that meet or exceed department, organizational, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, educate, and respond to questions or concerns.
  • Ensure age-appropriate approach to communication, safety needs, patient education, and principles of physical/functional growth and development.
  • Demonstrate understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques.
  • Oversee and train students providing patient care, treatment, and services as part of their training.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • RO (State Radiography License) and one of: ARRT-R, ARRT-N or CNMT AND must obtain ARRT-CT within 1 year of hire
    • ROT (Temp State Radiography License) AND must obtain One of: ARRT-R, ARRT-N or CNMT prior to ROT expiration AND Must obtain ARRT-CT within 1 year of hire
  • Desired:
    • One year CT scanning
