Job Summary

ThedaCare - New London is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure
    • Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed to practice in the state of Wisconsin.
    • Must also hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Job Details
    • Work as a CT Technologist in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, performing a variety of imaging procedures to diagnose and treat patients.
    • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
    • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
    • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols and procedures to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Requirements
    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist required.
    • Must have experience with Epic charting software and be proficient in using electronic medical records.
    • Must have a strong understanding of general CT and X-ray imaging procedures.
    • Must have completed at least one contract as a traveler and have a strong track record of success in this role.
  • Schedule and Work Environment
    • Work a variable schedule, including days, nights, and weekends, to meet the needs of the facility.
    • Must be willing to float to other areas of the facility as needed and be flexible with scheduling.
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with high volumes of patients and imaging procedures.
  • Additional Requirements
    • Must be able to lift and move patients as needed, and be able to stand for long periods of time.
    • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
