Position Summary:

The Junior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) by facilitating pricing proposals within the finance department. This position is integral to the Finance team, tasked with managing and tracking pricing inquiries from various organizational departments. The role involves analyzing financial data to ensure competitive pricing while achieving profitability objectives.


The ideal candidate will exhibit strong analytical abilities, financial insight, and the capacity to collaborate effectively across teams. This entry-level position is perfect for recent graduates eager to embark on a finance career within the SaaS or healthcare sectors. The role can be performed in a remote or hybrid format.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive pricing proposals for existing and potential clients, ensuring alignment with financial strategies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to assess the financial impacts of pricing decisions.
  • Work alongside sales and legal teams to provide accurate pricing information for bids and proposals.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from pricing stakeholders.
  • Conduct pricing analyses and effectively communicate findings to relevant parties.
  • Ensure the precision and reliability of financial and pricing data utilized in analysis and decision-making.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for the ongoing enhancement of the pricing function.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Market Research, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A Master's degree in Finance is advantageous.

Skills and Experience:

  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and foundational knowledge of financial modeling tools.
  • Basic understanding of revenue and volume modeling is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or SQL is beneficial.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and research capabilities.
  • Effective reporting and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and vulnerabilities.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes as required.
