Fire Sprinkler System Designer

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler System Designer to design and layout fire sprinkler systems for various buildings and structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection systems design, with NICET certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and layout fire sprinkler systems for various buildings and structures
  • Create detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors
  • Perform hydraulic calculations to determine pipe sizes and sprinkler head requirements
  • Review and interpret building plans, blueprints, and specifications
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions
  • Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals
  • Provide technical support during installation and commissioning

Qualifications:

  • NICET certification in Water-Based Systems Layout preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire sprinkler design
  • Proficiency in CAD software
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
