Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our sales team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing current customers, pursuing new business opportunities, and developing strategies to meet customer needs and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our services
  • Pursue new business opportunities through assigned mechanical contractors and consulting engineers
  • Prepare and present proposals and bids, following Setpoint Systems' processes and procedures
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, utilizing creative and persuasive methods to develop appealing and competitive bids
  • Provide regular reporting on proposal activity, sales call activity, and sales disposition
  • Lead regularly scheduled lunch-and-learns on Setpoint Systems' products and services to contractors, consultants, and end-users
  • Estimate projects utilizing the Company estimating system and procedures
  • Provide input to the improvement of the estimating system
  • Responsible for performing complete project turnovers to operations after receipt of approved contracts
Requirements
  • BA or BS in Business, Engineering, or related field strongly encouraged
  • 2+ years' experience in building control systems
  • Working knowledge of DDC, electric, and pneumatic control systems
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Credentials
  • LEED GA/AP
  • CEM
  • PE and/or association with ASHRAE

Location

This is an on-site position with the possibility of working out of our Colorado Springs office, with some travel to our main office in Littleton, CO SE of Denver.
