As an Overnight Financial Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing essential end-of-day processes, which include posting charges to guest accounts, conducting night audit backups, and rolling the date. You will handle various payment methods, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges.
2. Generate contingency lists to maintain a record of all guests for emergency situations.
3. Sell accommodations to guests without prior reservations based on availability.
4. Operate the telephone switchboard, manage wake-up call requests, and relay messages to guests.
5. Complete the Room Rate Variance Report and manage guest check-ins, assigning rooms accordingly.
6. Activate or reissue room keys using electronic key machines.
7. Count and secure the cash bank at the end of your shift, ensuring compliance with accounting specifications.
8. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas, ensuring cleanliness and presentation of all materials.
Safety and Compliance:
Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information.
Guest Interaction:
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs. Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities and express genuine appreciation to guests.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with colleagues, fostering positive working relationships to achieve common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Engage in activities such as bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Less than one year of related work experience preferred.
- No supervisory experience necessary.
- No specific licenses or certifications required.
Compensation and Benefits:
The pay for this position is $27.00 per hour, accompanied by health care benefits, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan, earned paid time off, life insurance, disability coverage, and additional wellness benefits. Eligibility and other requirements may apply.
