We are currently seeking a Senior Strategic Advisor to support HQ USAF Sponsored and Supported Wargaming initiatives.

Position Overview:

This role is contingent upon contract award.

The Senior Strategic Advisor will be responsible for planning, executing, managing, and analyzing all phases of HQ USAF wargames, including:
  • Concept development
  • Objective and analysis/assessment planning
  • Game design
  • Event planning and management
  • Execution and post-game analysis

Key Responsibilities:
There are two distinct roles within this position, serving as either a senior adviser or lead for the Blue and Red wargame teams:
  • The Blue adviser will offer high-level insights and guidance to the uniformed Blue Lead and their team throughout the wargame cycle.
  • The Red lead will provide direct senior leadership and direction for the Red team during wargaming activities.
Both roles will:
  • Mentor senior-level participants
  • Facilitate senior-level groups, panels, and discussions
  • Assume senior wargame roles as necessary (e.g., National Security Council, Combatant Command Commander, etc.)
  • Advise on post-game analysis to identify operational risks and conduct senior-level gap analysis

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a graduate degree and have a minimum of 25 years of experience in defense intelligence, military operations, strategy development, strategic planning, and/or strategic assessments.

Operational and strategic planning leadership experience as a General Officer, Flag Officer, member of the Senior Executive Service, or equivalent is essential.

A TS/SCI eligible security clearance is mandatory.
