We are looking for a Senior Attorney to join our Trusts and Estates Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have a robust background with at least eight years of experience in managing large and intricate estates, as well as a comprehensive understanding of various trust types and estate planning documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estate Administration: Oversee all elements of the probate process, including the preparation of federal and state estate tax returns, conducting tax projections, and coordinating income tax return preparations for both individual and fiduciary entities.
- Trust Administration: Handle fiduciary accountings, manage beneficiary distributions, engage in tax planning, and oversee the preparation of fiduciary income tax returns.
- Estate Planning: Draft sophisticated estate planning documents and related transactional materials, engage in client correspondence regarding these documents, perform economic projections, and collaborate with clients and external advisors to execute plans.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, possess innovative problem-solving abilities, and demonstrate a capacity for business development. Experience in leading projects and taking on substantial client responsibilities is essential.
