About the Role

The Bloomberg Center for Government Excellence at Johns Hopkins University is seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor to support senior government leaders in leveraging data to drive better outcomes for residents. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering world-class coaching and technical assistance to city leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert coaching and technical assistance to city teams in developing and implementing data-driven strategies.
  • Design and deliver training programs and workshops for city teams, in collaboration with our Learning and Development team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government partners, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Contribute to the development of internal strategies, program improvement, and new program design.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for distribution to leadership and external partners.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field, with a strong background in data analysis and public sector leadership.
  • At least one year of experience in a related field, with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior officials and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ten years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in data analysis and public sector leadership.
  • Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, given our growing work across Latin American cities.
