Job Summary

The Director of Hotel Operations will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in all aspects of hotel operations. This includes maintaining company/franchise standards, delegating authority, and holding department heads accountable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize profits and improve guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Lead and manage a team of department heads, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of hotel operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and outside grounds.
  • Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure effective marketing strategies and sales efforts.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are equipped to provide exceptional service.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and marketing data to inform business decisions.
  • Drive employee morale and engagement through effective leadership and communication.
