Job Summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Associate to join our team. As a key member of our clinical support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet and direct patients to their appointments, manage patient flow, and maintain accurate records.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule new and follow-up appointments, including patient testing, and ensure accurate insurance referrals and authorizations.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answer telephones, and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Support: Assist physicians and administrators with business and patient care responsibilities, maintain patient confidentiality, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless patient care and optimize revenue.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Three years of recent experience in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in medical office software and technology.
  • Qualifications: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain patient confidentiality, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Benefits and Compensation

Pediatrix Medical Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and employee stock purchase plan. The pay for this position ranges from $24.00 per hour, based on years of relevant experience.
