About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Associate to join our team at AEG. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with current and future clients, working closely with the Director of Sales and the marketing department to execute deals and expand lead lists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Make cold calls to professional sports and collegiate organizations to drive leads and develop a lead strategy to open new markets and expand current ones.
  • Client Communication: Keep detailed communication records on our company's CRM system and coordinate with Marketing on campaigns to ensure they are being followed up on and maximized.
  • Proposal Development: Coordinate with marketing and sales engineering to develop proposals and quotes, and travel as needed to visit prospects in person at their facilities.
  • Trade Show Attendance: Attend trade shows as needed and participate in on-going training to understand the basics of our company's products and services.
  • Project Support: Assist on a project install to understand what we do and how we do it, and shadow senior sales and go on road trips to visit clients/prospects.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in sales, preferably in the sports and/or A/V industry.
  • Communication Skills: Professional verbal and written communication both internally and externally.
  • Organizational Skills: Must be organized, self-motivated, coachable, and adaptable.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
