Job Summary:

Talbert, Bright & Ellington, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Design Technician (Aviation) to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will assist in the planning, design, and construction management of airport-related projects. If you have a strong background in civil engineering principles and experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the design engineer and team in the design of runways, taxiways, aprons, and other airfield facilities.

• Assist with planning documents, construction cost estimates, and computer-aided design.

• Prepare technical reports, calculations, project drawings, details, and specifications.

• Review construction shop drawings and conduct site visits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• 0-4 years of experience with a strong background in civil engineering principles.

• Growing proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in small groups.

• Ability to manage, prioritize, and meet schedule requirements for multiple projects/tasks.
