About the Role

As a Design Technician, you will play a crucial role in the design of airport-related projects, working closely with our experienced engineers to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Design Engineer and Design Team in the design of runways, taxiways, aprons, and other airfield facilities, including grading, paving, drainage, and other civil engineering-related work.
  • Contribute to the development of planning documents, construction cost estimates, and computer-aided design.
  • Prepare technical reports, calculations, project drawings, details, and specifications.
  • Review construction shop drawings and conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned, with growing levels of responsibility.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 0-4 years of experience with a good background in civil engineering principles.
  • Growing proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to produce organized, accurate, and professional work products.
  • Ability to work independently and in small groups.
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and meet schedule requirements for multiple projects/tasks.
