The Warranty Specialist is a key member of the Cumberland Farms Inc. team, responsible for managing the warranty claims process and ensuring cost-effective operation and revenue generation for the department.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Maintain Relationships with manufacturers and vendors to negotiate warranty service agreements, manage warranty claims, and maintain core parts inventory.
- Process Warranty Documentation according to manufacturer guidelines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate with Internal Teams to facilitate warranty claims, including field technicians, parts room, and stores.
- Communicate Effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including OEM and aftermarket equipment suppliers, manufacturers, and remanufacturers.
- Manage Core and Warranty Process to ensure cost-effective operation and revenue generation for the department.
- Perform Other Duties as directed by management, including maintaining accurate records and reports.
Education: High School Diploma or GED; preferred education: applicable trade school or training program, manufacturer's equipment certifications.
Experience: 0-2 years service parts experience, including usage of computer inventory management system; preferred experience: 2-3 years service parts experience, including usage of computer inventory management system.
Licenses/Certifications: Forklift licenses (training and licensing provided).
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to organize daily workload with minimal oversight.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs, grasping, gripping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, climbing, carrying, setting, walking, standing, and lifting above shoulder level.
