About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager II to join our App Platform team at Datadog. As a Product Manager II, you will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers' needs and pain points, and use that knowledge to inform product decisions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and sales, to define product roadmaps and prioritize features.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and revenue expansion.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to develop and evangelize product priorities and roadmaps that inspire our teams' best work and deliver real value.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of large-scale database systems and their applications in the industry.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a SaaS company.
  • Deep understanding of large-scale database systems and their applications in the industry.
  • Strong technical background and/or sense of the day in the life of an engineer who holds a pager.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to present and defend ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Customer-minded with a high quality standard for the product to be delivered.
