Position Overview

Dentsu is seeking a Senior Mobile App Marketing Strategist to spearhead innovative strategies and oversee the management of performance marketing initiatives for mobile and app platforms. Reporting directly to the Director of Mobile App, this role will provide strategic leadership across various business units and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve comprehensive mobile and app marketing objectives. We are in search of a candidate with substantial experience in driving mobile app growth and a proven track record in executing multi-channel app campaigns with a strong analytical foundation, connecting objectives to measurable outcomes, and a passion for fostering client success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and articulate the overarching strategy and methodology for mobile app campaign management, in collaboration with the VP/Director of Mobile App and Performance Marketing Teams.
  • Direct growth marketing initiatives, including planning, execution, campaign oversight, and performance metrics (encompassing subscription funnel analytics) for the Shift mobile app to enhance installations, user engagement, and revenue generation.
  • Demonstrate fluency and expertise in executing all facets of multi-channel marketing, including SEM, Apple App Store optimization, and paid advertising through mobile networks, influencer partnerships, AdWords, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and additional platforms, utilizing audience and device targeting, remarketing, conversion tracking, display advertising, and other methodologies.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness, delivering performance assessments on all mobile marketing initiatives, iterating strategies to enhance performance and outcomes based on data-driven insights.
  • Engage deeply with clients' businesses: comprehending their objectives, external economic factors, industry dynamics; understanding their business model, performance metrics, and defining success.
Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • 4-6+ years of experience, with a portion dedicated to managing Mobile App performance marketing campaigns.
  • Proven experience in driving customer acquisition growth and optimization across key mobile app performance indicators.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Mobile App landscape, performance marketing, market development, and emerging trends.
  • Experience in understanding the intersection of Mobile App with channel teams - Paid Search/SEM, Display Media, Paid Social, SEO, Affiliate Marketing, Social Media, and Attribution.
  • Hands-on experience with app analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adjust, Localytics, SensorTower, among others.
  • A diverse background managing across various sectors and direct response/branded campaigns.
Additional Information:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,400. Actual salary will be determined based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
