About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Digital Operations to lead our digital media strategy. This key role will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital media plan that enhances our brand visibility, engagement, and donor support. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of our organization's mission and values, as well as a proven track record in digital media management.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy Development:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive digital media strategy aligned with our organization's goals and objectives.
  2. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital media efforts and track progress.

Content Creation and Management:

  1. Oversee the creation and curation of engaging and high-quality content across all digital platforms, including websites, blogs, and email newsletters.
  2. Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all digital channels.

Digital Marketing:

  1. Develop and execute online marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  2. Collaborate with the development team to create compelling campaigns that inspire donations and support.

Analytics and Reporting:

  1. Utilize analytics tools to measure and report on the effectiveness of digital media efforts.
  2. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on digital media performance.

Team Collaboration:

  1. Work closely with the communications, development, and program teams to align digital media efforts with organizational priorities.
  2. Manage and mentor digital media staff or interns as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. Minimum of 7 years experience in digital media management, preferably in a non-profit or cause-driven organization.
  3. Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, tools, and best practices.
  4. Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems (CMS), email marketing software, and analytics tools.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
