**Senior Accounts Receivable Manager**

The Senior Accounts Receivable Manager at Transplace is responsible for overseeing the daily workflow schedules and prioritizing tasks for staff as needed to ensure timely and accurate revenue data.
This role will produce reliable financial data in an accurate and timely manner for the General Ledger, and maintain established processes to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, cash application or collection of revenue.
The Senior Accounts Receivable Manager will manage a team of billing clerks and collection personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure the team meets established billing, collections, and reporting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Direct, motivate, manage, and lead the Accounts Receivable team with overall accountability for meeting established billing, collections, and reporting deadlines in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and propose adjustments to customer/client accounts as needed.
- Collaborate with internal customers across all service groups on issues affecting their customers/clients.
- Prepare Daily Balancing Report for the Executive team, and provide weekly reports on key indicators in accounts payable trends.
- Review shipments for necessary information in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Run cash receipt reconciliation; balance receipt reconciliation against bank statement.
- Research unapplied cash; resolve by applying cash to the appropriate account or refunding customer.
- Constantly innovate and improve the behind-the-scenes processes within the TMS, working with the IT team to create specialized products that address specific needs.
- Experience working with offshore teams and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is a plus.
- Conduct performance reviews, motivate team members, and create strategies to boost productivity.
- Complete Month End financial close processing as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
- Minimum 2 years of Management experience.
- Knowledge of the Oracle, BillTrust, or Comparable ERP System, specifically, Accounts Receivable module(s).
- Knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Credit Management.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, able to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy and action.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- BPO experience.
