Job Summary
BUDDYS HOME FURNISHING is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales and customer service operations at our branch location. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in sales, customer service, and retail management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire and maintain customers through effective sales and marketing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local statutes
  • Prepare and review store reports to ensure accurate financial records
  • Manage inventory and cash assets to maintain a profitable store environment
  • Implement sales and marketing programs to drive business growth
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Maintain detailed operating records and financial reports
  • Ensure all merchandise is priced correctly and available for sale
  • Prepare daily work schedules, delivery schedules, and assign tasks to team members
  • Reconcile daily transactions and maintain accurate financial records

Requirements
  • Two years' experience in sales, customer service, or retail management
  • Effective organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

Working Conditions
  • Position requires prolonged standing, walking, and driving
  • Must be able to lift, load, and move merchandise up to 300 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a variety of climates and weather conditions
