Position Overview:

The cleanliness of our hotel is a key factor in ensuring our guests return and recommend us to others. Housekeepers play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

We seek individuals with exceptional attention to detail to join our Housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will create memorable experiences for our guests through meticulous care in preparing and maintaining guest rooms. This role is essential in providing key services that allow guests to relax and enjoy their stay. A strong housekeeping team can elevate a guest's experience from satisfactory to outstanding.

Experienced housekeepers have opportunities for advancement into supervisory or management roles, such as Housekeeping Supervisors, Managers, or even Executive Housekeepers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Engage with guests to ensure their satisfaction during their stay.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve hotel cleanliness goals.
  • Maintain an orderly and well-stocked work cart.
  • Utilize equipment, supplies, and guest amenities properly.
  • Ensure thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas.
  • Change and inspect linens and towels daily, adhering to established standards.
  • Practice safety standards and report any hazards found.
  • Exercise respect for guests' property at all times.
  • Care for equipment responsibly.
  • Report to work punctually and adhere to the posted schedule.
  • Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and coworkers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Floor Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Able to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs, with assistance for heavier tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace promptly.
  • Work effectively as part of the hotel team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform essential job functions involving frequent lifting, bending, and reaching.

Supportive Functions:
The hotel operates seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, candidates should be prepared for potential schedule adjustments based on business needs. Additionally, assistance in other departmental roles may be required as directed by the immediate supervisor.
