Overview:
As a Room Service Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests, staff, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure linen closets are stocked with necessary amenities and supplies for room attendants, including direct deliveries to their carts.
  • Manage the collection of soiled linens and trash from room attendant carts.
  • Maintain cleanliness by removing spots from corridor walls and doors, and polishing mirrors and elevator doors.
  • Conduct vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of hallways, stairwells, and common areas.
  • Assist in flipping mattresses and moving furniture as directed by supervisors.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for shifts.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a hotel setting is preferred.
  • Possess a self-motivated attitude with a positive demeanor.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Effective communication skills with guests and team members.
  • Willingness to assist colleagues and work collaboratively.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy items, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 100 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors accurately.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
