This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Business Development Specialist to join MMS's dynamic team. As a Business Development Specialist at MMS, your main responsibility will be to identify commercial opportunities via industry readings, internet searches, analysts' reports, etc., to provide valuable insights to the company’s business and commercial objectives. Your success will heavily rely on your ability to develop and present new strategies for qualifying new business, manage priorities, build effective relationships with internal and external customers, represent MMS as a trusted partner to others, gain understanding of client profiles defined by Line Manager or Mentor, and practice excellent internal and external customer service. In addition, you will need to have the ability to organize and maintain records related to contacts, leads, meetings, follow-up tasks, and client/campaign specific deliverables. For this role, you should possess a college graduate degree in Business, Sales, or a related field, have 0-2 years experience in direct sales, business development, or a similar field, be proficient with MS Office applications, and have good communication and interpersonal skills. As an added bonus, knowledge of scientific principles or concepts is highly valued.
