Job DescriptionOur company is seeking a qualified Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
The Facilities Operations Manager will be responsible for supervising a team of maintenance staff, developing and implementing maintenance plans, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and codes. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our company.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance of building systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent costly repairs.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff to improve their skills and knowledge.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of five years of related experience and/or trade school training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years facilities management experience.
- Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
