About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Substation Engineering Manager to join our team at Power System Engineering Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing substation design, operations, and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage substation design, operations, and construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and long-term business growth.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in substation design, operations, and construction project management.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing successful projects and teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of substation design, operations, and construction.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
