Position Overview:
As a Certified Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics and home environments. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks aimed at ensuring patient well-being and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support registered nurses and physicians by gathering essential data related to patients' physical, psychological, social, and cultural needs in accordance with established standards and institutional policies.
  • Effectively organize and prioritize patient care activities, taking into account the needs of both patients and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Implement age-appropriate interventions tailored to individual patient requirements as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Facilitate smooth patient flow throughout the clinic experience, ensuring timely and efficient care.
  • Assist in the development and execution of patient and family education plans based on identified health needs and the patient's condition.
  • Ensure a safe environment and the secure delivery of care at all times.
  • Maintain necessary supplies and equipment to support patient care activities.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required to support clinic operations.
  • Exhibit teamwork and collaboration in the provision of patient care.
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary to meet the needs of the organization.

Compensation:
Position Compensation Range: $28.47 Hourly

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
  • Licensure: Certification as a Medical Assistant through a recognized national professional association is required. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also necessary.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, frequent bending, and the capability to lift, push, or pull weight as needed. Exposure to chemicals, blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases may occur.
