We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the State of Virginia. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living to promote optimal recovery and well-being.
- Perform basic nursing skills and procedures as delegated by a Registered Nurse, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Assist with administrative tasks and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills and competencies.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) certification through the Virginia Board of Nursing.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds, and frequently bend and stoop.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
- Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide education program or Fundamentals of Nursing course.
- EMT or above certification.
- A competitive salary range of $15.37 to $23.82 per hour.
