Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with personal care needs to ensure optimal recovery during their stay.
  • Perform basic nursing tasks as delegated by a Registered Nurse, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a safe environment and the secure delivery of care.
  • Provide administrative support as required.
  • Maintain necessary skills and competencies relevant to the role.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Compensation

The compensation for this position is competitive, with an hourly rate starting at $23.82.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.

Experience: No prior experience is necessary; however, relevant experience is preferred.

Licensure: Certified Nursing Aide certification (CNA) through the Virginia Board of Nursing is required. Additionally, American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification is mandatory.

Physical Demands

This role requires frequent bending and stooping, as well as the ability to lift and maneuver patients safely. Proficient communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
