Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Professional to join our team at Empire Nissan. As an Internet/Fleet Sales Professional, you will be responsible for selling new and used vehicles to customers, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate Vehicles: Explain the characteristics, capabilities, and features of our vehicles to customers, and provide test drives to showcase our products.
  • Vehicle Selection and Promotion: Help customers select the right vehicle for their needs, and promote our model options, features, value-add products and services, and purchase and finance options.
  • Test Drives and Safety: Conduct vehicle test drives, ensuring all speed limits and other rules of the road are followed.
  • Product Knowledge and Updates: Continuously learn about product updates, features, accessories, and inventory, and their benefits to customers.
  • Delivery and Warranty: Provide clear explanations of vehicle and features operation, warranty, and servicing requirements to customers.
  • Sales and Negotiation: Learn to overcome objections, ask for the sale, negotiate price, complete sales or purchase agreements, and explain and offer warranties and services.
  • Documentation and CSI: Maintain accurate sales documentation and strive to achieve high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
  • Follow-up and Referrals: Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business, and contribute to customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge and Training: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions.
  • Sales Management and Reporting: Provide sales management information by completing required reports, and attend sales meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Company Values and Policies: Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors, and follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Fleet Sales Experience: A plus, but not required.
  • Previous Sales Experience: A plus, but not required.
  • Client Service and Communication Skills: Excellent client service and communication skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
  • Internet and Written Communication Skills: Must be Internet savvy with excellent written and internet communication skills.
  • Teamwork and Professionalism: Must be able to work well in a process-driven environment, conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times, and strive to respect and facilitate teamwork within all departments.
