Account Executive Job Description

Lahlouh is a leading provider of end-to-end commercial print solutions, and we're seeking a skilled Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, qualifying new prospects, and cultivating existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver sales presentations to clients and prospects
  • Provide plant tours and demonstrate our capabilities
  • Review print estimates and calculate pricing, ensuring accurate and complete job specifications
  • Coordinate pre-production meetings for large or nonstandard projects
  • Participate in brainstorming ideas and reviewing job dates with scheduling
  • Review digital files, preflight reports, and proofs prior to sending to customers
  • Coordinate delivery of proofs, samples, proposals, and other materials to customers
  • Follow procedures and maintain compliance with industry-standard requirements
  • Conduct press checks, bindery checks, audits, and other quality control measures
  • Work with manufacturing personnel to answer questions, offer guidance, and troubleshoot problems
  • Oversee large Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Manage sales administrative tasks, including processing expense reports and facilitating credit applications

Requirements:

  • Previous commission-based selling experience in the commercial print industry (5 years minimum)
  • College degree preferred (BA/BS) or extensive industry experience required
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Above-average verbal and written communication skills
  • Personal car required for job; must be willing to travel, as needed, to support clients and be onsite at manufacturing plants
  • Client entertainment required (meals, work travel, events, etc.)

Compensation:

  • $60,000-$200,000 annually (100% commission after first year guarantee, commissions average 7-9%)
