Business Development Representative

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join Robert "Toddy" Todd - State Farm Agent in Henderson, KY. As a key team member, you will play a vital part in building and developing customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct customer-focused needs assessments to educate customers about insurance options.
- Collaborate with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
As an Agent Team Member, you can expect:
- A competitive hourly pay plus commission/bonus structure.
- Paid time off (vacation and personal/sick days).
- Valuable experience in sales and marketing.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) is preferred.
- A track record of meeting sales goals/quotas is preferred.
- An interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
- A passion for helping people manage risks and achieve their goals.
- Self-motivation and proactive problem-solving skills.
- The ability to make presentations to potential customers.
- A Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain).
- A Life and Health license (must be able to obtain).
Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
