Arcadis is looking for a Construction Program Coordinator to be part of our Places Infrastructure division. This role is essential for managing schedules at various construction projects.

Position Overview:

As the Construction Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive program schedules, ensuring that relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints are clearly identified for various construction initiatives. You will also be expected to independently interpret and analyze detailed construction drawings across multiple disciplines, gaining a thorough understanding of the project scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate Contractor's Baseline schedule submissions to ensure all work scope is accurately identified and logically sequenced; provide detailed written feedback on schedule reviews.
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control on contractor schedule submissions to confirm compliance with contractual obligations; assess critical path, cost and resource loading, and overall schedule integrity.
  • Perform Time Impact Analysis for change orders impacting the construction timeline; engage in schedule negotiations with relevant parties regarding delay settlements.
  • Analyze drawings to ascertain work scope compliance and interpret contract terms to evaluate the validity of time extension requests.
  • Execute Critical Path and Earned Value analyses to monitor project progress.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to assess contractor progress against weekly/monthly schedules; prepare reports for project oversight and management.
  • Facilitate effective communication with contractors regarding schedule-related matters during regular status meetings.
  • Regularly perform QA/QC reviews on program schedules and provide bi-monthly status updates.
  • Ensure adherence to program-level standard codes and reporting formats to maintain data integrity.
  • Act as a liaison among project teams, departmental leadership, and the Program & Project Controls division.
  • Prepare necessary reports as directed by management.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Construction Scheduling, preferably with an Owner or General Contractor, focusing on educational facilities or public works projects.
  • Proficient in the latest version of Primavera and the MS Office Suite.
