Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Specialist to join our team at Ascension Seton. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for driving nursing quality indicators and evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to identify gaps in nursing practice and develop plans to improve professional growth, skills, and competencies
  • Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting quality/patient safety data to drive improved care outcomes
  • Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines
  • Conduct unit rounds with a focus on coaching and mentoring in partnership with clinical leadership
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire
  • 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred, BSN and MSN preferred
