Position Overview: The Nursing Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering patient-centered care. Collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary team, this position focuses on enhancing clinical efficiency, managing equipment and inventory, and overseeing the recruitment and training of medical support personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate care with front office staff, providers, and support teams to optimize scheduling and minimize appointment gaps.
  • Supervise and guide the activities of medical assistants and phlebotomy staff.
  • Assist leadership in developing, implementing, and upholding operational standards.
  • Establish rapport with patients and stakeholders to identify care needs effectively.
  • Create a supportive environment by providing education and emotional support to medical assistants, patients, and colleagues.
  • Ensure a safe and hygienic workplace by adhering to established policies and protocols; seek assistance from healthcare support personnel as needed.
  • Protect patient and employee safety by following infection control guidelines and medication management procedures.
  • Document patient care services accurately in patient and departmental records.
  • Facilitate continuity of care by communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs among nursing teams.
  • Maintain confidentiality to safeguard patient trust and operational integrity.
  • Oversee equipment functionality through preventive maintenance and inventory management; assess new equipment and techniques.
  • Manage nursing supplies inventory by monitoring stock levels and utilizing resources effectively.
  • Contribute to performance metrics and monitor MIPS performance, providing education and guidance to medical assistants and providers.
  • Foster a collaborative relationship among healthcare teams through effective communication and rapport building.
  • Responsible for the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of support staff.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling as required.
  • Hold a diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Possess a Bachelor of Science in a related field.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent judgment, reliability, and a conscientious work ethic. Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity are essential for operating complex equipment.

Work Environment: While fulfilling the responsibilities of this role, the employee may encounter environmental risks associated with radiation and biohazard exposure.
