The Senior Manager of Supply Chain Operations is tasked with overseeing the functions within the materials management division, ensuring effective supply chain and inventory oversight. This role encompasses leading a team, formulating strategic initiatives, managing financial resources, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct materials management activities and mentor team members
- Formulate supply chain strategies to enhance resource utilization
- Supervise departmental personnel, focusing on training and performance evaluation
- Oversee supply expenditures and implement strategies for cost reduction
- Establish and track departmental financial plans
- Engage with internal partners to improve service delivery and operational efficiency
- Collaborate on initiatives for process enhancement and standardization
- Manage customer service and environmental services as required
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline is essential, along with a minimum of three years of leadership experience in materials management. Strong capabilities in leadership, communication, and organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.
