Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative individual to contribute to our Supply Chain operations. This role encompasses comprehensive responsibilities in procurement, production scheduling, inventory oversight, and logistics management. The successful candidate will engage in critical tasks including purchasing, shipping coordination, inventory oversight by location, inventory reconciliation, MRP system administration, communication with co-packers, data entry and analysis, as well as cross-departmental collaboration. This position is vital for achieving our organizational objectives related to sales, profit margins, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee supply chain planning, including MRP, procurement execution, production scheduling, and product distribution.
  • Manage inventory control for both raw materials and finished products, including inventory transfers and lot tracking.
  • Utilize MRP systems to facilitate purchasing aligned with production schedules.
  • Execute transactions and manage systems within a NetSuite inventory management framework.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels of finished goods across various third-party locations, considering sales forecasts and customer orders.
  • Foster effective communication across departments, particularly with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Accounting, and Sales.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and supplier partners to ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Identify and rectify discrepancies with freight partners for shipments with incomplete or incorrect product details.
  • Contribute to achieving both corporate and specific departmental goals.
  • Propose enhancements to procedures and policies that add value to the organization.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to quickly acquire an in-depth understanding of our products and operational processes. This role demands both team leadership and individual initiative, coupled with a strong sense of urgency regarding business health. Experience in supply chain management within the consumer food or beverage sector is advantageous.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and dynamic work environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel; prior experience with NetSuite is preferred.
  • This position is primarily office-based, with the option for remote work one day per week.

Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary range ($60,000 - $70,000), Spindrift provides a comprehensive benefits package, including:
