Therapeutic Area Biomarker Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Area Biomarker Lead to join our team at Novartis Group Companies. As a key member of our biomarker development team, you will be responsible for leading a matrixed team of scientific experts to define and execute the biomarker strategy and plan for a portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement biomarker strategies and plans for therapeutic areas and projects
- Lead a matrixed team of scientific experts to execute biomarker development plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate biomarker strategies into clinical protocols
- Represent biomarker development at key meetings and committees
- Ensure alignment of biomarker strategies with therapeutic area and project goals
- MD, MD/PhD, or PhD degree in a relevant field
- Scientific excellence and expertise in biomarker development and clinical research
- Experience in industry (Pharma or Biotech) for at least 3-5 years
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a matrixed environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
