Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Systems Integration Engineer II to join our team in supporting the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing requirements development, decomposition, trade studies, and requirement verification/validation. You will work closely with integrated functional teams to define, develop, and execute integration and test activities for integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage requirements development, decomposition, trade studies, and requirement verification/validation
  • Work with integrated functional teams to define, develop, and execute integration and test activities for integrated systems
  • Develop strategies and approaches for specialty engineering (operability, reliability, maintainability, supportability) integration, analysis, and verification
  • Develop systems engineering artifacts to include requirements specifications, ICDs, test plans, test procedures, and test reports
  • Represent the Systems Engineering team in technical reviews and failure investigations
Requirements
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • 2+ years experience in Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test
  • Knowledge of systems engineering practices (e.g., requirements development; standard verification methods; functional decomposition; standard diagramming techniques; risk and opportunity management)
  • Hands-on experience in developing, authoring, and executing integrated tests and/or operating complex systems
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with requirements development/management tools such as DOORS, DOORS Next Gen
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) and/or data management tools such as Windchill
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence and JIRA
  • Ability to work with partially defined requirements and changing criteria
